Webinar ROI Calculator

A webinar is a funnel: audience to registrants, registrants to attendees, attendees to pipeline. Enter your numbers (or start from the benchmarks) and this calculator projects registrations, live attendance, sales opportunities, pipeline value, revenue and return on spend.

What the webinar roi calculator checks

  • Registrations projected from audience size and page conversion rate
  • Live attendance from your reminder-sequence strength
  • Sales opportunities and customers from in-session conversion
  • Pipeline value and expected revenue from your average deal size
  • Cost per registrant, attendee and opportunity when you add a budget
  • ROI percentage and revenue multiple on spend

How to use it

  1. Enter your audience and conversion rates. Start with how many people you can invite, then your registration page conversion, live attendance, opportunity and close rates. The prefilled values are common webinar benchmarks.
  2. Add deal size and budget. Your average deal size turns the funnel into money. Adding the total campaign cost (promotion, tools, production) unlocks cost-per-lead and ROI figures.
  3. Read the funnel and the insights. The projection shows every stage plus notes when one of your rates sits outside its benchmark band, with the fix that usually moves it.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good webinar attendance rate?

35-50% of registrants attending live is the normal band for business webinars. Below 30%, reminder emails at one week, one day and one hour, plus a calendar file in the confirmation, usually recover 8-12 points.

What registration conversion rate should I expect?

20-40% of landing page visitors registering is typical. Short forms (name and email only), a concrete promise in the headline and proof like speaker photos push toward the top of the band.

How many webinar attendees become customers?

It depends on offer strength, but 15-30% of attendees becoming sales opportunities and 10-20% of those closing is a workable planning model. In-session offers with a deadline convert far better than follow-up-only offers.

Which costs should I include?

Everything spent to make the webinar happen: promotion and ads, design, platform and streaming costs, speaker fees and a fair share of staff time. The calculator works with any currency.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. The math runs in your browser and over a rate-limited endpoint that writes nothing to a database.
